A new home, a new challenge

Our client was looking for a facade solution that would give the effect of natural stone, but without the huge costs associated with the purchase, transport and installation of full thickness walling stone. The sourcing of stone walling is not a problem, but transport is a greater challenge, not to mention the labour costs of a stonemason.

Natural, light stone

Bluestone stone cladding panels from the Stone Panel System collection are light, weighing about 80 kilograms per square meter, so one pallet can accommodate 10.75 m2.

Natural stone easy to install

The client described himself as a competent DIY enthusiast who is familiar with construction work. After receiving our advice on installation, the client assembled the panels himself - as shown in the photos - professionally.

The final result

The photos show the use of Bluestone natural stone panels on the plinth of the building, the widened corner and the entrance door. Admittedly, the combination of natural stone and wood looks beautiful.
